Emma McDonald is a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 8 years experience of supporting people in making positive changes in their lives. Over the 8 years of clinical experience, approximately 6,900 sessions of therapy have taken place. Further to her qualifications, Emma is a accredited therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).


Emma's core clinical training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Following a period of working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with veterans returning from war, Emma then went on to qualify in the delivery of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). In addition to being a Psychotherapist, Emma has supervisory experience, which involves the mentorship of trainee practitioners.

Ailie is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies. Ailie has worked in the NHS as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for 10 years, with significant experience working with a wide range of presentations. In recent years Ailie has worked in an NHS Health Psychology Service supporting people with long term health conditions. Ailie utilises skills in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to support clients to meet their personal goals for recovery in a warm and collaborative way.

 

Tiffany Howl

Tiffany is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 11 years clinical experience with both adults and young people. Tiffany has further training in Schema Focused Therapy and third-wave CBT approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy. Tiffany likes to utilise all of her training when helping people so that people can benefit from the ‘best fit’ for their needs. Tiffany has specialist expertise in helping children and adolescents and has worked in different NHS CAMHS (Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service) settings treating young people with anxiety, depression and trauma. With a passion to help build resilience in young people, Tiffany trained to deliver a Mindfulness curriculum for 11 to 17 year olds.

Adele is a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist. With 6 years’ experience working in Mental Health, Adele has a background in substance misuse and has also worked in a variety of different settings, including residential care, the National Health Service (NHS) and the Charity sector.
 
Adele has experience supporting people struggling with a range of emotional
difficulties including depression and anxiety disorders. Her therapeutic style draws strongly on compassion, empathy and acceptance. Using a person-centred, collaborative approach, she aims to ensure that every individual feels supported in reaching their goals, using their values as a guide. She has a keen interest in both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
